La petrolera estatal brasileña Petrobras anunció un nuevo yacimiento de crudo en aguas muy profundas del Atlantico. En un comunicado, la empresa indició que el descubrimiento se realizó en el pozo conocido como Mandarín a 126 kilómetros del estado de Río de Janeiro y a un profundidad de 1,874 metros en la capa anterior a las reservas del presal, yacimientos de hidrocarburos ubicados en aguas profundas bajo una espesa capa de sal.
